By car
TomTom satnav users please note that post code entry takes you to the wrong side of the
railway line, so please enter the road details (Rankine Road ) instead.
From the M3
Exit at Junction 6 and take the slip road to the Black Dam roundabout.
Go straight across and follow the Ringway East (ignoring LH filter to town centre) for about 1/2
mile and take 2nd exit Left (not Daneshill) via slip road signed A33 to Reading and a large
raised roundabout straddling the dual carraigeway. Follow round to the right and take the 4th
exit into Faraday Road and then take the first right into Rankine Road. Drive to the bottom and
a small mini roundabout. Take RH exit into Newton Court and you will see EC's factory at the
end of the close ( Unit 4 ).
From the M4
Exit at Junction 11 and take the A33 sign posted to Basingstoke.
Follow the A33 (Reading Road) all the way into Basingstoke passing through Chineham and
signs for the International Business Park on your right and the MFI store on your left. Follow
the Reading Road up to a large raised roundabout straddling the Ringway dual carraigeway.
Keep in the left hand lane and take the first exit left into Faraday Road and then take the first
right into Rankine Road. Drive to the bottom and a small mini roundabout. Take RH exit into
Newton Court and you will see EC's factory at the end of the close ( Unit 4 ).
By rail & taxi
There are frequent services to Basingstoke from London Waterloo, the South and the
Midlands (via Reading ). For up to date information on train services to Basingstoke call

There is a large taxi rank outside Basingstoke station and EC's factory is 5 minutes away.
Please note that EC staff will be pleased to pick up visitors from the rail station if preferred.
By bus
Bus routes 1, 4, 9 and 12 from the town centre bus station run via the Daneshill industrial
area. The closest to our location for alightment is Faraday Road (only 3 times daily) and
Gresley Road. The most frequent are routes 1, 4 and 9 alighting at the Gresley Road
requset bus stop and a 3 minute walk to EC's factory. From the town centre direction,
remain on the bus stop side of the road and follow the public footpath behind it, past the
cement works on your right and under the railway bridge.Turn left immediately under the
railway bridge and follow the footpath for approximately 80m then turn right. The footpath will
lead you into Newton Court and you will see EC's factory at the end of the close ( Unit 4 ).

By bicycle
Bicycle racks are available at EC's Unit 4 factory which is accessible via the local cycle
network.

EC's office and factory is around 20 - 25 minutes walk from the town centre bus and rail
stations.
